We are a group committed to the fight for equal opportunities and fair treatment for everyone, rejecting discriminatory and prejudiced practices that may affect others such as Liters, community residents, partner individuals, and anyone connected to Liter of Light, as well as society as a whole.
We understand that discrimination must be eradicated from our society by confronting all the ways it manifests in our relationships with every audience we interact with, directly or indirectly.

As part of Liter of Light's mission as a civil society organization, we are committed to making decisions based on respect, care for others, and the building of transparent internal and external relationships, guided by fairer, more ethical, and innovative approaches.
We also understand that, in the face of existing inequalities, it is not enough to simply reject discriminatory practices—we must take action to correct these imbalances and actively fight against the barriers that hinder access to opportunities for every individual we engage with and the vulnerable communities we serve.

Many of these marginalized groups are discriminated against due to historical issues that are still perpetuated today and must be addressed through fair opportunities and dignified, equal treatment.
We aim to be an increasingly inclusive, respectful, and diverse environment—one that promotes respect for Human Rights, fights for better living conditions in the communities we serve, and welcomes all volunteers and team members at Liter of Light, without exception.
Diversity in the First Person
We are committed to not tolerating any incitement of hatred, disrespect, injustice, physical, verbal, or emotional violence, or offensive language or behavior.
At Liter of Light, we believe that the inclusion and diversity of all people—regardless of gender, race, origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, and many other forms of plurality—contribute to making our organizational culture more vibrant and help us gain new perspectives to transform our society. In doing so, we also reinforce two of our organizational values: empathy and trust.
